About the dog bone

The dog bone vision, had all started with the new addition to our family the little Jack Russell we named Jack, yes not very original however his namesake suits him.  

Not only did Jack come to us with a sensitive tummy and vomiting after each meal, but he also came to us with super sensitive itchy and red skin. 

 

Living on a farm in the southern highlands of NSW, Jack would often be running around the farm frolicking in the long grass and rolling around in types of smelly.                                               

Having used a ton of different chain store products for bathing we found Jack constantly itching and licking at his fur, his skin was constantly red and irritated dry inflamed and bleeding.

Along with the skin allergies, his constant vomiting from the store-bought food that was full of preservatives and unnatural food and colourants and Jack thrived once a more natural diet and skincare routine was introduced and that is how the dog bone journey was born. 

 

The dog bone was established by the Mother and daughter duo choosing a more holistic organic approach to everyday life and started making Jack his organic products for bathing and aftercare.

Their dog shampoo and conditioner for itchy skin had done wonders for Jack’s sensitive, red inflamed and irritated skin and he was running around the farm freely itch free and smelling wonderful snuggled up on the couch next to them in the evening while enjoying a homemade nutritious pet treat from their baked fresh in their country kitchen that did not upset his sensitive stomach. 

 

From the shampoo and conditioner came more products and the duo decided to share their products with dog and animal lovers all around the world.
